Choosing Your Counter Tops

Do you want solid surface or are you looking for something more economical? Either way you probably want to know what you're getting.

Granite is very popular because it's very low maintenance and you can set hot dishes on the service with out damaging it. Very similar to granite, marble (natural) and quartz (engineered) are two other common choices for solid service counter tops but they are typically slightly higher in price. 

Laminate counter-tops are less durable than solid surface and you can not set anything hot on them but they come in a variety of colors and are solution if you're on a budget.
